Canada is completly different from China. In Canada, they've got an American-West European culture, they speak English and/or French...In China you've got a country with a Communist government, 1.5 billion asian inhabitants, they speak Chinese, you will have difficulties to do anything without a guide outside big cities...etc. I haven't said that it's not exciting, I'm just saying that it's completly different... it depends a lot on what you are looking for.
