    Hello,

I'm from Malaysia and I just arrived in Germany to start my german language course.

    I got a 3-month ONE-entry German language visa.

    My questions are:
Can I travel to other EU countries with this visa?
Can I travel to Switzerland for a weekend and enter back to Germany with this visa?

Note: Malaysians can travel into Switzerland and most EU countries as tourists without visa.

Thank you very much for your help!!

First I posted reply thinking you have Schengen visa ,90 days(which I deleted) .I was not aware of something called- "german language visa"-! As I understand the best thing would be to ask your school ,( I could not find any other answer) as they arrange lots of visas for non-EU nationals. It looks to me that you got wrong kind of visa which is just for Germany, 90 days one entry! I am just puzzled why did you get that visa- because you could have had Schengen visa which would allow you to travel, study for the period of 90 days within schengen contries!?
    :(

    Regards
