    Travelling solo may not be something you would consider, but it can be an exercise in self-discovery and self-empowerment.

    For many people, the pandemic restrictions highlighted how easily our freedom of movement can be taken away, and this has encouraged more people to travel solo without waiting for a better time or for friends to join.

    Safety is one of the major factors to consider when travelling alone. Safety is feeling comfortable while walking by yourself, walking around at night time, and a feeling of reassurance that you’re safe.

    Every place can be travelled alone. I have been to Mexico, Jamaica and UAE alone. The journey was quite interesting and good.

    I recently made a solo trip to Orlando and had a wonderful time. It seemed comfortable, and there was enough to do, from theme parks to visiting natural areas. I've also traveled alone in Canada and enjoyed visiting Niagara Falls what a magnificent location! Solo travel can be quite gratifying, and both Orlando and Canada worked out well for me.

    Did you find one that stood out in terms of how easy or comfortable it was to get around solo? I’ve been thinking about Mexico myself, but wasn’t sure how solo-friendly it would be in terms of transportation and language. Would love to hear any tips you picked up!
