Hi! I am a 24yo french planning to move in october from Maastricht to Oxford for work purposes and I would like to know a bit more about the town in itself but also abourt the country in general..if it is easy and appreciable for a foreigner to live there and if it is easy to meet people there....

Oxford is a lovely town (nicer than Cambridge, but that's my personal opinion). Plenty on very old colleges ... a bit like in An Instance of the Fingerpost from Ian Pears if you read it

It's also very active with a busy social life, a lot of students of course all around.
