    We've just moved to Sydney from LA and we're looking for some meetup groups for families. We have 2 smallish children in Burwood. Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to Sydney!
    I'm pretty much in the same situation (except that I am a dad, and not a mum!)

    I found a website called meetup.com, maybe give it a try.
    There seem to be quite a lot of meet ups happening there, I'll be giving it a try myself.
