This is kind of confusing to me, so I would appreciate all the help possible!
Here it goes...
I have dual citizenship with the United States and Poland. I received my Polish citizenship more recently because both my parents are Polish citizens. A year ago, I met a man from Paris, France and this summer he proposed to me when I went back to visit him BUT the problem is that he is not a French citizen (or in any case a EU citizen), he is from Tunisia and has been working and living in France for the last 7 years without documentation. I plan on moving to Paris next May when I am officially done with school in the United States and we would like to get married in Summer 2012. With this, we hope that he can get his documentation through my Polish citizenship, so that he is able to find a better paying position.

My question is: Can this work? How do we get married and begin the process of him receiving documentations? Is it a problem that I am a Polish citizen versus a French one if we got married in Paris? Also, I know in some countries they look at why you are married and ask for proof of your marriage, is this true in most the EU countries (especially France?). Last question is...how long does the entire process generally take?

I appreciate the help. I tried 'googling' as much as I could but the information is so general.
