    Does anyone know if headhunting agencies, are a good option for Americans who are interested in moving to London, but need the hiring company to sponsor the American's work permit? If anyone has better advice (other than talking to the Embassy--they are impossible to get on the telephone) for trying to obtain employment when obtaining a work permit is my only resort, I would gladly appreciate it.Thanks, Ilana

    Yes, I do not think that the embassy can be from any help. With agencies, you should concentrate with ads showing visa sponsor or any other way of showing that they do consider others than EU citizens. Alternativelly you may specifically notify that in your cover letter.
