My girlfriend and I are wanting to visit poland soon. she lives in the uk but has a polish passport and it has expired. her appointment for renewal isn't until december now apparently and we are planning to go over in october time.

My questions are:

Is there anyway of bringing the appointment to a closer date? i've spoke to her and she says they take up to a month to be properly completed or something.

also, could we get to poland on her expired passport and do it there? I've heard it takes a quicker amount of time to process over there but we're still not sure about these things.

and finally, could we get back into the country on her expired passport?
