Help with relocation to Frankfurt

Postby Jimma » Mon Dec 20, 2010 5:17 pm

hi,

i am new to this site and relocating for the first time... from the UK to Frankfurt.

I see there are various options with regards to health insurance - any tips or reccomendations would be welcomed... along with any other novice relocation tips!

Also looking for reccomendations on areas to live - my office will be in Sachsehausen, and i would like to be in an area with good social life close by.

thanks!
Jim

You might want to subscribe to international health insurances (see in our guide for more addresses).

You have also services such as:
http://www.axappphealthcare.co.uk/
http://www.bupa.co.uk/
providing European coverage.

About living, u should think about the transport.... I don´t know where you work, but it is not very convenient to drive over one hour in the morning....so if you are looking for a place which is nice u should keep this also in mind and the rush hour in frankfurt is horrible :-)
