hi, i'm looking for accommodation in milan, and all the ads and websites i've seen so far requires some knowledge of the city/surrounding areas.

can anyone tell me which suburbs or city centre areas are good and safe for single women? need good access to public transport to get to work and shopping, and good security for the place.

any help would be much appreciated.
