Hi guys, i'm right in the middle of the process of getting my Polish Citizenship.
My grandpa moved to Israel in 1947, therefore was drafted on 1948 to the Israeli army and stayed there until the war was over a year later. He was 26-27.

I'm well aware of the Polish law about people who served in a foreign army, but I'm also aware for some precedents, caused by one's age during his service etc.

Was wondering if any of you here had this kind of difficulty and if so - how did you manage to get the citizenship despite it?

    Many thanks!
