    Bonjour!
    Je suis etudiate canadienne au pays-bas.
    J'ai donc un visa de residence pour les pays bas et je peux aller comme je le veux ans les autres pays EU
    en september jyrais en france pour 5 mois pour faire un enchage dans une universitee.
    dois-je obtenir un visa pour la france aussi?
    si oui le quel?
    et combien ca coute?

    i am canadian studying in the netherlands
    so I have a netherlands residence permit who allow me to go to the other EU countries.
    Next year I have to go to france for 5 months for a shool exange
    do I need to apply for an other visa?

    Yes you do.

    Since you will stay more than 3 months in France you need to apply for a carte de sejour. You have to apply for it at the local prefecture (regarding the department in which you will study) in France.
