    Hello

    We are in the process of applying for an EEA family permit for my husband with a view of him settling in the UK with me.

    Can he work with such a permit in the UK? Can he study the English language (we would pay for private tuition).

    Can we say at interview that we want to live together in the UK in the long term?

    Yes, if his application is successful then he'll have the same rights as any EU national. He can work and study. Hope this helps.
