✎ EN Did someone go through the process for a h4 visa ?

    Hello,
    I am french and my husband to be is currently working in the USA on a h1b visa. We want to get married in a couple months and then I will apply for a h4 visa.
    I would like to get in touch with someone who went through the whole process of applying for a visa h4.

    There are a couple questions I still need to answer:

    - Is it ok to go to the interview at the embassy without my husband ? (he'll be working in the states at this time)

    - Do I need to bring documents such as wedding photo album,... ?

    -How much does it cost and how long would I have to wait to get the visa after the interview ?

    I saw that this post is quite old. But I am in need of info regarding this since my wife is French and she is applying for her H4 in Paris. Have you been able to get your H4? Can you tell me the kind of questions they asked during your interview and the documents you took with you? I am currently in the USA working on a H1B visa. I would really appreciate any help you might be able to give me. Thank you.
