From time to time some users are asking us to delete their account. Reasons might be that they don't use the site anymore, they are no longer expats (some of them registered years ago) ...etc.

Until now we were asking them to contact the Admin in order to verify their identity and then we were deleting manually their account.
Not fun, and also against the EU directive that says you must allow members to be able to delete their account and personal information in a simple way.

So we have now implemented a new tab in the member profile, allowing them to delete their own account. Hopefully it will help some, but many will aslo stay being confident with our system!
