    Hi,

We are interested by your feedback on the cost of living in Guatemala. With Easy Expat we have already a useful tool to compare the cost of living in some major cities in the world.

However we do not cover all the countries, nor all the destination where you can eventually decide to expatriate.

If you live in Guatemala, you can help the community and give information about the cost of living in Guatemala. You might be able to give indication and comments on the needs:
 Food (what to expect, what to find).
 Accommodation price in Guatemala. Rent?
 Transport (public transport but also the necessity and cost of using a car)
 Services (gaz, electricity, telephone, internet...)
    Tax
    Health, Education
    Entertainment (restaurant, cinema, theatre...)
    ... etc.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience with the community

Hey everybody, let me give you some info,
About the food, there is a vary of food that you´d like to prove and love to eat, there are different kind of restaurants, like chinese, american, french etc etc.
The accomodation price it depends on what part of Guatemala you want to live at. The best places to live at Guatemala City are Zonas 10,14 and 15. The public transportation is highly not recommended! Is better if you buy a car or move on cabs. All the services are, well lets say cheap compared to another countries and all of them accesible.
In another words, the cost of living in this country is cheap compared to another countries in Central Americ. Let me write a list of examples living at the exclusives areas of each city:
    Antigua Guatemala, $4000/month/2 persons
    Guatemala City $3500/month/2 persons
If you have any question, let me know, maybe I could help.

    Douglas.
