    I'm afraid I don't have personal experience, but I found a few posts about where & how to celebrate in the city: http://www.nileguide.com/destination/bl ... -shanghai/ & http://www.echinacities.com/shanghai/ci ... nghai.html. Also - Howard Johnson Hotel is doing a brunch with choc eggs: http://guxiangshanghai.hojochina.com/gu ... tions.html

It looks like the Gourmet Shop may offer the eggs:
    1591 HongQiao Road
    (86 21) 6237 6000 ext. 6764.

Also check out the EasyExpat guide to Shanghia: http://www.easyexpat.com/en/shanghai.htm. Tons of great info for expats.

    Happy Easter!

The CityShop at Xujiahui definitely has Easter eggs, but they're a little pricey. The Carrefour in Gubei might have them too.
