Expat Newsletter March 2022

Latest News in our Expat Network

Hello

Are you familiar with Panda Diplomacy? You You and Jiu Jiu's birth in Madrid's zoo is the occasion to tell you more about it.

In our Magazine, we also talk about three countries planning big changes: one re-naming itself, another one changing capital and the last one switching currency. Turkey wants to be called Turkiye in English now (understandably fed up of being mixed up with the bird some of us cook at Christmas!) and Egypt is building a new city in the desert with a 1km tall tower in the shape of an obelisk. But in term of megalomanic projects, El Salvador is also problably high up in the ranking, with its commitment to founding Bitcoin City.

Talking about desert and mega-projects, you will also read an update on the constructions in Qatar for the Football World Cup that should happen at the end of 2022.

And last but not least, we change continent and discuss the cost of healthcare in the US. You expect high amounts, you will read even worse in our article (it's crazy!), unfortunately without any link to a better efficiency apparently.

We would love to hear your views and share your comments on our articles. Don't forget that you can react and comment on all our articles in our forums! Links are at the bottom of each article, and in the Magazine section of the forum.
