    The next group of countries we focus on in our series on universal healthcare are the DACH countries.

    Germany (D), Austria (A) and Switzerland (CH) make up the DACH region.

    These three countries have a very similar universal healthcare system in place for their citizens and residents. Funding and regulation of their healthcare systems are also quite similar with a few exceptions.
