The website for applications is live since this morning, Monday 19 October, and British citizen can applu for their residency status (the French government blamed the Covid-19 crisis for the repeated delays).

Britons have until 30 June 2021 to apply. British citizens will only be required to hold a residence permit as of 1 July 2021 (there might be a grace period until October 2021 which seems in line with the EU website saying that will have until at least 30 October 2021 to apply).
