I quite agree with the response above, why do you want to buy marmite ? :D

In France, in my town, Nantes, there is an Irish clothes and accessories shop that sells some food as well. They have brown sauce and marmite.
I think it is a chain but I don't remember the name. If you are in a big city, look for shops that sell Guinness goods, Rugby polo, Irish stuff, etc.
If you are in the north of Brittany, just ask the first english you find where there is an English shop...

And if you don't find marmite just try our mustards and mayonnaise ;)

edit: I just remembered the name of those shops : http://www.comptoir-irlandais.com

Hi, I'm izzy, I live in Marseille, I have never seen marmite in any supermarket (who would ever want to eat that  here ??? LOL!)
    BUT
you can easily find it in any British grocery
or online (pm me if you can't find it)

Now, a more difficult question: where can I buy a good mince pie in France ?

    Hi

In Paris you can definately find marmite at Carrefour and monoprix.

You could also find other english products like baked beans, digestives, and so on... But be prepared to pay quite a high price :(

Good luck for the marmite hunting !!

I get Marmite in Velan,an indian spice and general grocery shop in Passage Brady, Metro Strasbourg St Denis. Its not cheap, but M&S Food has shut down or switched to selling french stuff. Now,if anybody has a good lead on Yorkshire tea Im all ears.
