    Hi all,

We are seriously thinking about moving to New Zealand and applying for permanent residency. One big plus for a PR visa is of course having a job offer. But how is that even possible from a practical point of view?

Getting a visa will take several months, maybe even a year. And I do not think companies will post job openings with the intention of waiting a year for the right candidate to settle down.

Are there any tips for this? It seems to me like an almost impossible match to have a job offer and then still going through the process of getting a visa.

    Best Regards,

Hi @Sunshyme and welcome to EasyExpat.com.
Usually it is much quicker when the company is a sponsor and is taking care of the process.
