    With globalisation expanding to all corners of the world there is an ever-increasing interlinking of economies with more trade occurring and a greater exchange of knowledge between nations.

    Increasing numbers of students are now travelling overseas for education, especially tertiary education. This can be for any number of reasons but predominantly because of onward international mobility, cultivating an international career and improving their social advantage when they return home if they choose to. But who are these students and what is the impact of their choices?
