Hi everyone, I hear great things about friends who go to Hong Kong and other parts of China, and do very well in teaching jobs. I'd love to do something similar but I have no idea where to start. If anybody can give me a site or some information to get me going, I'll buy you a beer when I get there. I speak English and French fluently, and could teach beginner's German if required. Hope to hear from you folks. G.
You should start with the EasyExpat guide to Hong Kong and the FAQ about teaching English. Consider getting your TESOL (also known as TEFL) certificate to increase your marketability. Best of luck!
Language skills will stand you in good stead anywhere, there's always someone looking for an English teacher. You may have some luck jobs-wise here: http://www.expathiring.com - you can search by language and location which is pretty handy. Good luck to you! Ste.

Oh I can see that someone has already posted a site called the guide to Hong Long, thanks - I'll have a look I have seen this though, saying that Hong Kong is expensive for Expats - is there any truth in it? http://www.expathiring.com/news/sin..._medium=facebook&utm_campaign=expathiring.com
