Hello, myself my boyfriend and our 2 children are planning on moving to spain, we would like to move to the Punte Prima area, near Torrevieja. i am having trouble finding a list of state schools in and around that area, anyone know of any? or where i could look?
we would also be looking for full time jobs so im guessing that in the school holidays i would need excellent childcare.
any advice at all would be very welcome.
    thanks Gemma

Easy expat has a guide to Madrid that may give you some helpful info on schools and child care facilities in Spain in general: http://www.easyexpat.com/en/madrid.htm. The section on school systems may help you establish just what you need: http://www.easyexpat.com/en/madrid/scho ... system.htm

I also found this site which sounds like it might be just what you & your family need: http://www.spainandmore.co.uk/p_spain/education.php. It includes tips on schooling in Spain & Resources for british in Spain:
THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BRITISH SCHOOLS IN SPAIN
    www.nabss.org/intro.htm

THE COUNCIL OF BRITISH INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS IN THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY
    www.cobisec.org

    EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION
    www.eaie.nl

    Best of luck!
