there's a new service launching soon (Jan 05) that gets groups of likeminded people together to do stuff around London.

One of the groups of people that we're going to try and connect are French-speakers in London. So, if you're French, speak French or are learning French and want to socialise with other French-speakers then we organise social activities for you to do just that. Could be drinks in a pub, eating out, cinema, theatre, galleries, cookery, wine-tasting etc

The launchparty is in early January 2005 and is a chance for you to find out more, who's behind it and generally to have a drink, meet some new people and have fun.
