Hello! I would like very much to move to Stockholm - after living in The Netherlands for 10 years. Before making the big move, I'm looking for work there, but no luck so far. Besides that, all I get as advice is that if I want to get a job in Sweden, I have to speak Swedish ! OK, I understand that speaking the language makes things easier while living there, but I can't believe that this is essential to get a job! I moved 10 years ago to The Netherlands without speaking a word Dutch and that wasn't a problem at all for getting a job. I'm about to start some private lessons Swedish, but it's really going to take a long before I get to speak/write the language very good - and I'm not willing to wait that long to move. I want to learn the language while living in the country - that's the best way. So...how did you all do it ...moving there without speaking Swedish?? Was it really that difficult to get a job? Regards, Fotiini
