    Hi guys,

So i have a friend of mine who has just moved abroad and was asking me to do some research on behalf of him in order to find the best services for transfering money abroad. He's already tried the beareu de change and a typical retail bank but has had a bad experience with both of them.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

    From Turkey or UK?

HSBC might be a good option for you. It offers fees free transfer to 41 countries, but you need its Premier bank account (which means you need £50k savings or a £250k mortgage with HSBC, or £75k salary going into an HSBC account).

    Thanks for the advice :)

Do you know anything about a company called RationalFX by any chance?

I just now learned from a friend that a company called RationalFX who he uses to make transfers with has just announced that they will be doing something called a 'Happy Hour'.

The Happy Hour will apparently be kicking off on the 24th May which is next Tuesday and will be doing currency conversions of USD/EUR & GBP/EUR AT WHOLESALE RATES!

I asked him to send me a link in order to confirm the validity of this event, and he said that i will have to join their official Facebook page in order to see the password which we will need to quote in order to be eligible for the offer.

According to him, you can get to their facebook page by keying in the facebook web address and then adding /rationalfx at the end of it and will have to sign up as a user however before making use of their services.

Their transfer rates are very very good apparently and are as close to market rate than most other companies.

I'm looking to transfer from Turkey to England so i might give these guys a go and post a review.
