After experiencing it first hand buying tickets from an automated dispenser and not knowing the system setup, maybe someone who is experienced with it can explain how to get a ticket.
For example from Schelklingen to Ulm using the Ding system. I had to ask how the ticket machine worked in order to get a ticket back to Ulm from Schelklingen. Part of the reason I did not know how long I was going to be at my destination before returning.
Maybe I am missing something with the Bahn.de website and also there may be others whose German language skills are limited. Thanks.
