You are expected to help in taking care of children, enjoying spending time and interacting with them while you teach them English, playing, talking and doing funny things together, keeping the children amused and out of dangers. The au pair should take initiative in keeping things organized and neat, giving a hand with the everyday household chores. The host family will do her best for the au pair to be happy and have a pleasant stay in Italy.
