My family and i will be visiting south africa this month (july). On our return, we need accommodations in johannesburg. We have been told (various times) about areas which are not very safe. Could someone recommend a 3+- to 4+ star hotel in a safe area? We have seen many guest houses advertised? Are they good? Please, we would appreciate any advice and recommendations. Thank you.
