    Hello and welcome!

    Are there any places that you can recommend to meet other expatriates in Switzerland?

    You might already have some experience of nightlife/happenings around there; can you give any advice for new comers who want to meet people and discover Switzerland? Are there clubs, groups, or places that are helpful in meeting new people?

    There some nice community to join if you want to meet up with expats in Switzerland and all over the world.
    It just depends on what type of social network you want to join and type of people you want to meet.

    - http://www.meetup.com and http://www.facebook.com There you can join different group community and meet people who share the same hobbies, passion and/or interest as you.

    Than community a bit more posh, I can suggest:

    Thanks so much for the tips! Meeting other people is always a tough part of moving abroad. In addition, I recommend checking out expat blogs in Switzerland.

    If anyone wants to arrange a get together, there is a thread for expat meet-ups in Switzerland. Plan an event and get some people together! :D
