    Hello and welcome!

Are you planning to move to the UK and are worried about the moving process? One of the first steps to succeed with your expatriation is to properly prepare yourself for the move.

How should you arrange the move? Can you do-it-yourself with help from friends, or do you need help from a professional international mover?

What do you plan to take and to leave? Will you need all your furniture, or will it be easier/cheaper to buy most things once you have arrived? Are electrical appliances compatible in the UK?

How can you bring your car? Is it worth it?

What tips and advice can you share with us about your move to the UK? If you are preparing for your move currently – what questions do you have? If you have already completed a move – what are your tips? :?:

    Thanks in advance for sharing!

Self moving is a stress full and not an easy task but you can make it easy by following below listed few tips.
    • Start the packing process at least one week earlier.
    • Make a paper list for your packing objects on priority interpret. Then short list the items with their belonging. Like crockery, household etc.
    • Match every item with your paper made list and then pack them with their belonging in different-2 boxes.
    • Pack every thing with carefully and peacefully.
    • Don't forget to mark all moving containers with the contents and location in your new home.
    • De-clutter and purge unwanted items. The more items you can donate, give away or sell, the lighter your load will be – saving you packing time, loading time and ultimately – money.
Although there are many mover companies who provides their best services belonging to packing, moving, and storage. In which Aussie man and van Bath[[LINK REMOVED AS THIS IS POSTED BY AN INDIAN COMPANY]] is known London’s Favourite Movers. Their aim is to provide reliable, cheapest, cost less, secure and stress free moving with full responsibilities to their customers.

Things to be remember to kept in your mind before hiring a professional mover:
    • Check their insurance papers.
    • Check is it affiliated for their services?
    • Clearly read the company policies and conform are they responsible for your mover.
    • Take some reviews/suggestions from your relative, friends and neighbors about the company.
I hope it will be helpful to you.

Moving is really a stressful task I have some tips on how to make your move successful and I hope these tips would be helpful for you.
So the first job is to hire a best removal company in UK. You should try to hire a company that is a member of BAR( British Association of Removers) like removals and storage company Dorset[LINK REMOVED AS THIS IS POSTED BY AN INDIAN COMPANY].
These are some other tips that can make things go smoothly for yourself and the movers.
    • Map the new locations and label the boxes clearly.
    • If possible, clean the new place at a time before moving day.
    • Be involved with the packing and unpacking but don’t get in the way.
    • Once the move starts, all you want to do is have your stuff in your new place and be able to get started unpacking. However, it is important to remember to take breaks and allow your movers to take breaks as well
    • Most people have a stove and refrigerator in their new home; however, you will be glad you hooked up your washer and dryer first thing
With planning and a little thinking ahead, you should be able to have a trouble-free, easy move for everyone involved. Remember to work with your movers, be flexible, and try to keep a positive attitude. Within no time, you’ll be settling into your new place!

Er, JSmith and tonyparker506 are posting from the same computer/office: 111.93.186.158. Is this a joke or a scam (already both messages being very VERY similar in the text and the format, it raises suspicion  )? And this guess where? Yes, India!
So either it's a scam or the UK company is trying to pay cheap services in India to spam websites, and they don't even check the quality of the links that the Indian company is making...
In any case I would really avoid.

Moving to the UK is an attractive option for various reasons. Living in the UK (London in particular) can be pretty expensive, especially before you start earning the British pound. Hostels or Backpackers are an attractive place to stay when you first arrive in the UK because they are cheap, give you access to like minded travellers and don't require a long term commitment. Sharing a house with other travellers is a common living arrangement in the UK.
Also, always take a map because a map that lets you know where there is danger as well as opportunity. A map that provides a solution to every UK immigration problem.

It's exciting to plan a move abroad hungrybear. I moved your post to a forum thread for people preparing for the move. Do you have specific questions for your move, are can you share information?

The best place to start when planning your move abroad is with the Guide to London which includes information on jobs, accommodations, and international shipping. :D
