    Hi everybody,

I am a 30 years old Spanish nurse and I am determined either to work or to do traineeship in London. I finished my three-year Degree of Science in Nursing from University of Cantabria, Santander in 2007. Since then, I have worked in Hospital Care, Primary Health Care and Nursing Home. Gaining experience in people service and nursing field.

If someone knows some offer... I would be thankful to him/her and I would help him/her in which I could do.

Thanks in advance, have a nice day ;)

Nurses are no longer paid by grade. According to the Agenda for Change, all bands of NHS staff including nurses are now paid the same level of pay. A newly qualified nurse starts on the first pay point in band 5, which is currently £21,176.

In order to become a registered nurse, you will need to register with the NMC. If you trained in the USA, you will need to check out the NMC link below for registration conditions for those who trained outside the EU. It's not a complicated process, but you will need to contact them directly in order to find out the conditions for registration.

Nursing jobs in the private and charity sectors are out there, and can offer a higher pay levels and professional development opportunities.

Living in London is notoriously expensive, but on a band 5 wage you can live to a comfortable standard. London is also your best chance of getting a job in the nursing sector, there are plenty out there to choose from in the area.

    Hope that helps.
