    Hi,

    I recently moved to Nantes, and would like to meet English and French speaking people. I am English, so it would be nice to improve my French by socialising with French people. It would also be nice to meet other English people who live in Nantes.

    I am also new at nates. actually been here for 3 months but bored as I am trying to learn french but do not know any one here except one person. I am from canada. How this site works.     Hi,
    First if you are learning French you probably now others in the same situation, probably in your course... why don't you try to do things together like meeting for a drink and exchange your contacts.
    For EasyExpat, people will answer your posts on the forum or will tell something about Nantes and you may be able to reply to their message then. That's how you make contacts and they might post something to meet and have a drink... just be friendly ;-)
    Nantes is a big student town in France, so there are plenty to do...

    I live in Nantes (my wife is a French student). We will be living in Nantes for a long time, since I have purchased a house near the River Sevre.
