Hi guys I am an Italian married with a Japanese girl for 1 year. My company is transferring me to the UK in 3 months time, and she will come with me.

I understand she will need a EEA family permit.

Questions are:

- When shall she apply?
- Can she come to the UK as a tourist and apply from there?
- Do I need to have an address in the UK before she can apply (I'll need to look for a place!)
- Does the certificate of marriage need to be translated in English from Italian. Where shall I get it translated?

Any more info/help is very much appreciated!
