You could check out some of the English-friendly bars likeThe Lock Inn (C/ Santa Teresa M: Alonso Martinez)

Or J and J's books and coffee (C/ Espitiru Santo, M:Novciado). There's almost always someone there to talk to!

Or check out some live events like the Giggling Guiri Comedy Club (www.comedyinspain.com) for nights out where you can meet dozens of friendly anglos!

Im a 25 year old girl that has been living in Madrid since December. Im looking to meet some people that would like to hang out. Although, I have begun learning Spanish, it is quite limited! Therefore, its a bit hard to meet new people who arent English speakers.
