Hello all i am really in need of some advice from anyone who know anything about the EEA Family Permit.

I am a British Citizen and last year got Married to a Brasilian woman, who has a Italian Passport so therefore is a EEA National.

We have booked tickets to go to Brazil in March 2011 to go see her family and bring back her two Daughters to the UK to live with us. They are 12 and 10.

I have contacted immigration and they have advised me to get a family permit for the girls to enter the uk with us and then they can apply for thier residency.

The problem i am facing is they say the girl have to go to the british embassy in Brazil. Which is quite hard for them as they are living with my wives parents and they are quite old and the Embassy is in Sao Paolo which is a good 6hour drive.

I understand we can fill the form from here but you need to send documents with the form what i dont understand is how do we send the documents when we have my wives document here with us in the UK and the girls passports are in brazil and thier birth certifactes.
ALso would my wife get her passport back intime for us to travel.

I really have no clue about this as i have never done anything like this and filling the form in looks quite daunting as these are children we are filling it in for and there are lots of section about finances etc. well they dont have any so do i leave them blank ???

Where would we have to send these documents because one solicitors i phoned gave me a little advice and they said the girls would have to take the document to a office or embassy and get thier figerprints taken and everything.

Any advice would be great because we are now really panicing that we will not be able to get the girls into the country.

We have saved the 3000pounds for the tickets all year and we cannot afford to have them not let in.

We was under the impression we would be able to take the documents to airport with us when we arrive and the girls would be allowed in on a six month pass as they do have return tickets and therefore a return date. ( this is what happened with my brother in-laws wife)

Please please help any advice would be much appretiated.
