You are entitled to apply for EEA Family Permit since your wife is EEA citizen and is exercising her treaty rights in UK ( by working ).

You can apply for it from India at your nearest British embassy/counslate.

You will need to produce documents showing your relationship i.e. marriage certificate, and since your wife is going to be your sponsor, she needs to provide her bank statements from UK, letter from employer, her tenancy agreement to show that you both have enough place to live in the UK, and of course passports ( or in case of your wife some other form of ID ) etc.

You should also provide all the supporting documents for example your wedding pictures, if you have lived together before, the proof of that.
Collect as much evidence as you can to show that your marriage is a genuine one and not just for the purpose of immigration.

I will appreciate your advice; I think I have a close situation. I am Canadian but my husband is Romanian, we got Family Permit. My will attend a university in UK in June but I have offer to work in April.
1. Can I work with Family Permit; if I apply for the Resident Card before the expiration of the FP can I continue working with FP because the RC may take 6 months to be issued ( I am not sure if the Home office will issue any document to proof my eligibility to work in UK before processing the Resident card)
2. If I accept the offer to start working in UK what kind of document the employer may requested me to bring with to show my eligibility to work in UK.

1- Yes you are alllowed to work on your EEA Family Permit without any restrictions. When you apply for RC towards the expiry of your Family Permit, it doesn't change your status. You will get an acknowledgement letter from the Home Office when they reciecve your application called COA ( Certificate Of Application ) which mentions this fact.

You can carry on working till the decision on your RC application arrives.

2- Your passport with EEA Family Permit stamp in it is all you need.

Yes you are allowed to work without any restrictions.

Your employer, once the job is offered to you, will need to see your passport with EEA FP stamp in it. Thats all. You don't need to show any other proof that you are allowed to work.
