    Hi,

    I am wondering if anyone has any advice. I am planning to marry my mexican boyfriend in the UK. I am British and currently working in Mexico. We have investigated a civil marriage here in Mexico and as a foreigner I need to pay for permission to marry (approx £150). I understand that there are papers in the UK too but I am unsure of the costs...Does anyone have any info that would help my situation?

    Having the civil ceremony in Spain is also an option. Reading some of the threads it looks like things are easier in Spain than the UK?

    Have you managed to find the answer to this question yet?

    I am a british guy dating a Mexican girl and we are looking into the options and difficulties of marrying in each country.

    Also do you know what citizens rights are available to us once we are married in both Mexico and the UK?
