    Hi,

    I am Chinese and waiting for the EEA2 card. My husband is from Poland and I heard that the EE2 card has to be in my passport if I want to apply for a visa to Poland or another EU country.

    Is the EEA2 card a separate document or it will be in my passport? If it is a separate document, how to apply for a visa to Poland? Is they any way to tell the HO to print it in my passport?

    You'll be in a better position to obtain other visas if the RC is affixed in your passport. Most countries would not accept a RC on a separate sheet. You need to find out from the Polish Embassy whether or not they would accept your RC on a separate sheet.
    The RC is normally affixed in the applicant's passport. However the UKBA is known to have sent some people's RCs on a separate sheet, in an instance where the passport is not readily available when the decision is being made, and where the UKBA has failed to send a letter requesting it's return.

    Thank you for your post.

    If the RC is affixed to my passport, that makes me feel better. I am sure the Polish embassy will accept it so I can apply for a visa. But like you said , my husband would better check this with the Polish embassy.
