Similar Situation


He needs to apply for a visitor visa to the UK. I was also denied entry, twice! I thought that coming back a month later, showing I had proof of funds, a job in the US, & intentions to enroll in a US college would be enough.
They basically laughed in my face-saying they thought it was amazing that I thought I could get in a month later. That was in June & July this year. After giving me "relationship advice" the IO advised me to come back in 2 years on a fiancee visa. (Bollocks) Then she subtly implied I if I had a visitor visa I would be less likely to be denied entry.
So I am positive I will need a 6 month visitor visa stamp...although, I only plan to visit during the Christmas holiday. My friend was denied entry & applied for & approved for a student visa within 2 months. I am on the verge of the whole process of applying for my visa-although I'm a bit worried.
Has your boyfriend found any solutions? Maybe we can guide one another in this whole messy process.
I have heard that it might be best to have an immigration lawyer assist. I'm still a student in college, & we have also spent thousands of dollars/pounds on flights. So if it's something I can do on my own, great. However, if it would basically guarantee my acceptance then a lawyer would be worth it.

It is possible to have a visitors visa to travel to UK.

Your friend can visit the UK by having the H1 visa by showing he has a oppurtunity thereto work.

He can go to UK by writing Ielts exam which is an entrance exam to study over in UK , the course is MS.
