Hi everyone,

Now my husband applied for FMRS, got COA letter...
He s trying to get a job now but needs the NI number.

His passport is obviouslly with Home Office.
he could provide birth certificate, marriage certificate, HO letter,
n similar things, but no ID with photo...

I read on directgov website that he could show up for an NI interview without any official documents as well and he might be able to prove his identity.

Now what do you guys think?

i was hoping that it would be possible without the passport, but when my
husband called them for the interview, the woman was asking him whether he s got his passport or not and when he explained his situation, she told him to request the passport back from the home office....
which we absolutely arent goin to do....
