    hi

Im going to be moving to france soon to work, and am in the process of negotiating my salary.
Can anyone tell me how much I should expect to pay in income tax / national insurance (or the french equivelent).
(eg in the uk id deduct about 25% as a rough estimate to get my net. pay)

I know the system in different in France to the UK and im struggling to get my head around it!

    cheers

In france, national insurance is beetween 20 and 25%. It's not easy to say because that's depend of many things. Like that, you have your net pay.

After that, you must pay income taxes. It's not included in the pay, you must pay it once a year the first year, and after you can pay it monthly. I don't now how calcul it. Count one net pay by year.
