I live in milan, so i could give u some useful advice!! in milan the cost of housing is very high, but i read u won't pay it, so u'll save much money. i think the salary u're gonna earn is enough for a family of four members and it'll let u enjoy the cultural life and the other things milan offers to its citizens. in milan there are lots of british people, so it won't be hard finding people from your country, just to keep in touch with your origins, ahah! bye, and good luck!

bear in mind, yes property is expensive in milan, but commuting is good and you can find great property at a good price in the towns around milan. pull out the map and check north of milan, then you have the beauty of the lakes for the weekend. the international school is in varese.

 

i am a student in canada and will be starting university next year, however i would love to move to milan to go to university and after. I plan to move there in the summer but start school in the spring term to use the first months i am there to get settled in and used to the culture. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to find an apartment in milan or just outside of milan before i leave because it would be much easier to go there with a place to stay. Also, if anyone knows the average cost of rent/month that would be helpful.
