At present, I am having problems locating which visa I need to send to my husband. I believe it could be either The Long Stay Visa or the family visa. I know that there is no fee for our application. I have contacted the French Consulate in Tunisia but they state that I must send my papers therefore I have no idea about their guidelines when applying for a visa. The French Consulate in London has given some information but insist that I speak to Tunisia. I am going around and round which brings so this bring this to you. Please can you support me in answering the following questions?

1. How long do I need to be living and working in France prior to my husband joining me?


2. Does my husband need to provide his work details along with savings?


3. What is the amount of money needed as finance to show for the embassy and does this need to come from both us? In Tunisia its challenging to obtain any papers or pay slip from an Employer unless you work for government officials. Can you suggest as to what other papers we can support for our application?


4. Can I use some of my previous wages and savings from London to support our application too along with French papers?
