    hello there
    i'm a polish women& i want to know about same sex marrige in belgium as my girlfriend is an indian working in belgium.
    as poland & india both ban samesex marrige ...can we get married in belgium.
    plsssssssssssssssssssssss help.all are wellcome.

    Hi,

    What is her status there? How long has she been working in Belgium? Is she planning on immigrating?

    If marriage laws are difficult to work around in Belgium, you can always go to Spain or Canada and get married there. Then your marriage would be recognized in many of the EU countries.

    hi thax for reply...well my girlfriend working in belgium from last 2yrs.
    but the thing is you can only get married in belgium, if your home nation recognise same sex marriage(as i have read) .& india &poland dont recognise samesex marriage.
    pls let me know if law are diffrent in spain.

    Yes in Spain and Canada you can marry; however, in Belgium, if your girlfriend has been a resident there for 3 months, you should be able to marry her there. At least that is what I have read about it online.
