    Hello there
    regarding the religous police and 'dangers', I would only just suggest you to stop reading washington post, new york times, the mail, the sun and telegraph and stop watching some western channels whose only purpose of existence is to malign and defame muslim countries mostly for
    non-existing reasons or merely exaggerating individual things.

    I have been to Saudi Arabia more than once and I have never felt / faced anything of the sort. I have never worked there so I won't be able to tell you about the wages but one thing is certain, for professionals, wages in Saudi Arabia are not less if not more than those in the EU or US. Similarly, their health facilities, transport, security and safety all match those in the Western Europe. You also won't face any kind of racism whatsoever, no matter what religion, color, nationality, or ethnicity you are. Just be kind enough not to challenge in public the Islamic faith, or Prophet or Quran or whatever.

    I don't know from where the heck did you get the idea that sports are a crime / forbidden in Saudi Arabia. I don't want to waste time in telling you about it. Go and see for yourself :)

    Do you think all women in Saudi Arabia wear burka ?? If yes, you are again wrong :D

    I hope this information helps.

    Good luck with your job

    Hi, I was in Jubail for more then 1 y and I didn't face any problem, just be polite and don't joke with their faith and moral, forget girls and alchool... Saudi people are very kind.
    KSA is doing a lot against terrorist (they shoot them on the spot! not like in Western Countries where we are too much polite...), from this point of view there is no big risk. You'll risk much more on the road, don't cross green traffick light without checking left and right...
    Dammam and AlQobar (very close) are nice cities and next door there is Bharein where you can find "everything". Enjoy your experience.

    Travel in Saoudi Arabia

    Is it easy to travel in Saoudi Arabia?
    I would like to go to the North West mountains, far away from the cities;
    will I be asked for questions on the way by military or police?
    Is there buses that go anywhere in Saoudi?
    Can I bring my motocycle by plane to Saoudi?
    Is there any map or website that can give informations for these questions?
