    gOOD MORNING,
    I NEED SOME ADVICE REGARDING PERMANENT RECIDENCY IN THE U.K.
    I AM MARRIED TO A HUNGARIAN GIRL AND I AM NOW HAVING
    F.M.R.S VISA.
    PLZ TELL ME CAN I GIVE THE TEST AS MENTIONED IN WEB SITE I.E

    AM U ELIGIBLE FOR A BRITISH RESIDENCY ETC.

    hi pal,
    FMRS is a visa or a stamp which UK givrnment gives you if you are a memeber of an EU/EEA citizen. its called Family Member Registration Stamp. its like a residency document but valid for one year.

    I am in the UK since 2005. i was a student for one year than i applied for FMRS.

    plz advice me that am I eligible for residency etc by giving the life in the uk test.

    Hi,
    If you are an EU/EEA citizen you will need to have lived 5 years in the UK to apply for the nationality. Not sure if you will need the ILR. Please check this link from the government website:

    You will need to stay five years are you are considered as a spouse of an EU/EEA national.

    Eligibility for permanent residence
    The following are eligible under Regulation 15 of the Immigration (EEA) Regulations
    2006:
    • EEA nationals who have resided in the UK (in accordance with the
    Regulations) for a continuous period of 5 years;
    • Non-EEA national family members who have resided in the UK (in
    accordance with the Regulations) for a continuous period of 5 years;

    Hi there
    I found a very useful website for the preparation of the Life in the UK test (British citizen ship test, ILR). Essential notes and practice tests are available free of charge.
    I used this for less than a week and got though the exam first time.
    I did not not use any thing else
    visit
