    Hi,

    We've just applied for a eea family permit and we gave all the documents they asked for, but they said that it would take a few days and they would check documents etc.

    I wanted to know if they were going to ring my employer or not because i should tell my employer if that's the case and i should make sure they ask to speak to the right people when they ring. I gave payslips, letter from employer, p60 tax document etc already.

    Also, how long is an eea family permit valid for? can we re-enter UK as many times as we wish?

    hi,

    Thank you for this. Just a last question: once we have the family permit and we are in the UK, do we need to re-apply for a family permit every time we go abroad and come back? e.g. if we go away for a short week end or holiday.. can we re-enter or do we need a residence card?

    During the first six months u have multiple entries to the UK kingdom after that u must apply either for resident card or if u r from the A8 countries u must apply for WRS and complete 12 months of legal workin to get ur free movement and resident card for ur family member, well during the first 12 months of working ur family can apply to FMRS to extend their stay for 1 year instead of 6 months.
